Northwest Public Health and Primary Care Leadership Institute
The Northwest Public Health and Primary Care Leadership Institute unites emerging leaders from both the public health and primary care sectors to cultivate more effective strategies for advancing community health across our region. Hosted by the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice and the Northwest Regional Primary Care Association, this dynamic program emphasizes the strengthening of collaborative partnerships between these two critical areas. Employing varied learning methods, including problem-based approaches, participants engage in hands-on case studies that challenge them to enhance their leadership skills in real-world contexts.
The Leadership Institute combines both in-person and virtual learning formats, fostering individual and team activities. Through its design, the Leadership Institute nurtures cross-sector communities of practice, shaping visionary leaders capable of driving structural change to build healthier, more resilient communities.
