19th Annual Western Migrant Stream Forum, Feb 12 - 14, 2010   Seattle WA

The Western Migrant Stream Forum brings together a broad representation of migrant health professionals for three days of education and training, information and resource sharing, coalition building, and policy development. This year, the Forum will be organized into three "tracks" or concurrent trainings: policy and advocacy; outreach and health education; and models of care (clinical and operations).

Comprehensive Coding Education Program        January 8 – June 18, 2010

This six-month live, web and phone-based course prepares individuals for national coding certification. The CCEP is designed for those currently employed in primary care, specialty, and surgical practices, and addresses the unique needs of coders in the FQHC/RHC. While this course does prepare individuals for national certification, it is also an excellent course to take for general coding information and knowledge.

The A.T. Still Program helps build the Region X workforce pipeline by introducing more students to opportunities in Northwest health centers. Research shows that physicians are more likely to work in areas where they have gone to medical school or done their residency.
