National Organizational Resources

  • Community Health Association of Mountain Plains States- As the only other Regional Primary Care Association, representing Colorado, Montana, the Dakotas, Utah and Wyoming, CHAMPS is offering diverse support and education on outreach and enrollment.
  • Enroll America - A nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to maximize the number of uninsured Americans who enroll in health coverage made available by the Affordable Care Act.
  • Families USA - The "Navigators and In-Person Assisters Resource Center” provides information about state enrollment assistance programs and resources to help provide consumers with the information they need to get enrolled.
  • HealthCare.Gov -The federal insurance exchange market. For Region X, only Alaska will use this web portal for enrollment.
  • Health Outreach Partners - A national non-profit health organization providing training, consultation, and information services to community-based organizations striving to improve the quality of life of hard-to-reach populations.
  • Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) -The primary Federal agency for improving access to health care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable.
  • Kaiser Family Foundation- A non-profit, private operating foundation focusing on the major health care issues facing the U.S., as well as the U.S. role in global health policy.
  • Michigan Primary Care Association - Michigan Primary Care Association has been a national leader for outreach and enrollment with community health centers.
  • National Association of Community Health Centers - National organization that provides a unified voice and common source for research, information, training and advocacy for community health centers.
  • Robert Wood Johnson Foundation - A national organization focuses on the pressing health and health care issues facing the country.
  • UDS Mapper - Resource center housing tools and data that can assist in planning your outreach and enrollment efforts to targeted populations.

  • Navigator and In-Person Assister Resources - Support your enrollment staff at your organization with comprehensive education on plan details, statistics and other information to support streamlined enrollment services for your patients.
  • Outreach and Enrollment Toolkit - Center for Medicaid & Medicare Services' health insurance marketplace has developed a toolkit for outreach and enrollment that incorporates a step by step process along with key information to consider along with important contact information for national agencies.
  • Outreach and Planning 101- Enroll America has developed a basic outreach process to assist organizations in planning enrollment efforts. This tool is not CHC specific but provides the fundamentals of planning your outreach and enrollment program.
