2019-2020 Biennial Region X Health Center Salary & Benefits Survey
is Now Open for Participation!

Report Highlights 

  • Compiled salary and benefits for 124 different health center positions
  • Breakdowns for key positions by state, year of service, and health center size (according to budget)
  • Summaries of employee benefits packages offered throughout the region (e.g. insurance types, retirement options, employee leave)
  • Staff turnover and point-in-time vacancy information (e.g. vacancies, recruitment length)
  • New to 2020: A breakdown of information for medical, dental, and behavioral health providers in an analysis of health center benefits packages.   Retention metrics and trends to now include a breakdown of voluntary and involuntary turnover by medical, dental, and behavioral health staff groups), and retention needs.



  • Monday, June 15, 2020: Deadline for submitting completed survey.
  • October/November 2020 - Early 2021: Region X reports released.

The Salary Survey Tool is a five-tab Excel document for recording your center’s data:

  • TAB 1: Contact information and “date of completion”
  • TAB 2: Spreadsheet for submitting employee salary and benefits information
  • TAB 3: Spreadsheet for submitting information about your benefits structures
  • TAB 4: Spreadsheet for submitting turnover information
  • TAB 5: Spreadsheet for submitting additional organizational and recruitment/retention information

The Salary Survey Instructions is a PDF document including:

  • Details about how to report information for each tab
  • Tips for double-checking your data to identify the most common data entry problems
  • A comprehensive list of job description summaries for each title in the survey, to ensure everyone is reporting their employee salary/benefits data in the most appropriate spot

Please have one person at your center complete the survey, adding information for your health center directly into the electronic Excel document. Completed electronic surveys should be emailed to  adevasquez@nwrpca.org NO LATER than Monday, June 15, 2020.  ALL SURVEY DATA WILL BE KEPT STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. 



We encourage you to participate in this survey; having information from as many health centers as possible will make the aggregate data more useful for everyone. We understand that completing the survey will take time, and that you all are very busy. As incentives for participation:

  • All participating organizations will receive a significant discount of the related reports, regardless of NWRPCA membership status.
