NWRPCA is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 membership-driven organization that serves community and migrant health centers (CHCs) in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington (federal Region X).

Founded in 1983, NWRPCA aims to develop Community Health Centers and their staffs to meet the challenges facing their communities.

NWRPCA provides invaluable leadership training through popular programs like the Northwest Public Health & Primary Care Leadership Institute and Core Competencies for CHC Managers and Supervisors at All Levels.

Community Health Center Governance

The NWRPCA/CHAMPS Governance Training Module
covers essential topics to bring your board up to speed such as CHC 101, compliance, board optimization, strategic planning, leadership, and more.

Workforce Development

Workforce supports the CHC workforce through various webinars and training-in-place offerings, such as the Partners in Care Conference, Education Health Center Initiative (EHCI), and the A.T. Still Program.

Community Health/Health Equity

The Community Health Worker Institute serves as a training, technical assistance, and resource hub for CHCs to help them train and integrate CHWs into health center care teams.

HR & Operations

The Human Resources Peer Networking Group offers opportunities for health center human resources employees to directly communicate with their peers to share knowledge about topics critical to their work.

Conferences & Networking

We provide vital learning & networking opportunities through our three annual conferences: Northwest CHW Forum, Fall Primary Conference, & Spring Summit. Attendees have the option to join small group discussions with national & federal partners from organizations such as HRSA & NACHC.
