Join us for the "2019 AMFOP Questionnaire Preparation Training," a free webinar on July 15, 2019 at 1 PM PST. Produced in cooperation with national CPA firm CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), the  Annual Measure of Finance, Operations, and Productivity report provides yearly benchmarking for operational performance metrics. The AMFOP report will be shared and discussed at the annual NWRPCA/CHAMPS Fall Primary Care Conference, October 5-8 in Seattle, WA.

Profile

Kyla Delgado is an assurance principal with the health care group of CLA specializing in services consisting of financial and Single Audit, tax, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. Kyla serves as an advisor for health care organizations and focuses the majority of her time serving Federally Qualified Health Centers. Kyla is the firm’s practice leader for Federally Qualified Health Centers nationally.

 

Technical experience

Kyla has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting and has considerable knowledge concerning the health care industry in general and in particular, with audits performed under Government Auditing Standards and in compliance Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). In addition, Kyla has assisted a variety of health care and nonprofit organizations in assessing risks,  and redesigning internal control structures to properly assess, monitor, and manage these risks. Prior to specializing in health care, Kyla audited a number of nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans.

  • Bachelors of arts in business administration in accounting and information systems from the University of Washington, Seattle
