NCA Webinar Series

With the recently awarded National Cooperative Agreement on Clinical Workforce Development, the Community Health Center, Inc and its Weitzman Institute are providing training and technical assistance to health centers who are interested in transforming teams, and training the next generation. CHCI provided a series of national webinars focusing on 3 tracks: post-graduate residency programs for nurse practitioners and post-doc clinical psychologists, hosting health profession students at health centers, and team-based care.


-To date, the NCA webinar series has had over 2000 unduplicated attendees.

University of Washington COPE (Collaborative Opioid Prescribing Education) ­REMS Training Course

Through this course, you will earn CME online and learn:

  • Gain a better appreciation for structuring patient conversations through use of a patient care agreement or by negotiating goals of treatment.
  • Feel more confident in your decisions about when to start, stop or taper opioid therapy.
  • Learn helpful tips on how to counsel patients on safe use, storage and disposal of opioids.

Clinical Management Training

NWRPCA is pleased to partner with NACHC to present courses in the Managing Ambulatory Health Care (MAHC) Series: Training Courses for Clinical Leaders in Community Health Centers. The courses, presented in four levels, from MAHC I for new medical directors to MAHC IV for clinicians who have significant managerial responsibilities, are developed and taught by Harvard faculty. We also partner with NACHC to present New Medical Director Trainings. The one and one-half day in-person training provides the core knowledge and competencies that all health center Medical Directors need to function as effective managers, leaders, and advocates for their centers and communities.
