Funders and Supporters

Over the years NWRPCA has enjoyed generous funding from federal and state sources and private foundations.

Our Funders

The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), through the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), is the primary funder for NWRPCA. The support of BPHC currently provides just over 40% of our operating budget, supporting all of our programming.

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) helps to ensure that our health centers have the training and support necessary to properly bill services.

U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) is a primary supporter of our Western Forum for Migrant and Community Health.

The Alaska Rural Family Medicine CHC Clerkship Network grant helped defray the costs for medical students to complete rotations in frontier Alaska clinical environments.

Cambia Health Foundation has supported NWRPCA’s efforts to provide training and networking to facilitate health care access for underserved communities.

National Network of Libraries of Medicine provided much needed equipment that has allowed NWRPCA to capture content at our major conferences for future distance learning opportunities.

Washington State Department of Health Office of Healthy Communities has provided two rounds of funding to support education toward improving colorectal cancer screening rates.

Our Supporters

Supporters include corporations that help us achieve our mission, sometimes through in-kind donation of expertise.

BKD, LLP, a corporate member of NWRPCA, has, for several years, provided distance learning opportunities to our members’ fiscal leaders.

CliftonLarsonAllen, a corporate member and our first annual sponsor, has been the key supporter of Business Intelligence for Region X (BIX). Helping us to implement our Biennial Salary and Benefits Survey, and offering the Annual Measure of Finance, Operations and Productivity pro bono to our health centers, CLA has been essential in helping our member health centers make sound business decisions.

SuccesEHS/Greenway, a nationally recognized leader in computerized health records and a corporate NWRPCA member, has consistently partnered with NWRPCA to deliver quality online learning programs and to contribute to our e-newsletter, QuickNotes.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan generously funded NWRPCA’s 30th Anniversary Celebration throughout 2013 and has been an annual sponsor.

Centene Coordinated Care was the principal supporter of our Health System Transformation program in 2012.

Community Health Plan of Washington was the principal supporter or our Health System Transformation program in its inaugural year, 2011, and has been a consistent supporter of our conferences and initiatives.
