Board of Directors
The NWRPCA board consists of 16 members, four from each state. One board member in each state is a clinician. Our board determines the strategic direction of NWRPCA and drives the organization by committing time and energy in these and other ways:
- Advocating for the medically underserved in broader political arenas and building constructive relationships with key stakeholders
- Developing the healthcare workforce and nurturing new leadership through Learning Connections
- Fostering innovative approaches to close the gaps on healthcare disparities and supporting a health care system that provides competent, compassionate and equitable care for all
Representatives from each state – Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington – provide support and guidance for key programmatic initiatives. Board participation provides the following benefits: strengthens individual community health centers, as well as the state, regional and national healthcare safety net; enables individuals to develop personal and professional leadership skills; and builds a peer community of leaders who can support and learn from each other.
