Beryl Cochran

Retired Project Officer for Region X, Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) With more than 40 years of federal service, Cochran has direct experience in the areas of policy development, program monitoring, and the Social Security Administration. Cochran was a grants management specialist for three years at the former Office of Grants Management in Seattle. She was deeply involved in the implementation of the Alaska Initiative (2001 and 2002) that expanded the number of health center grantees. She holds a JD from the former University of Puget Sound, now Seattle University School of Law.

 

Rebecca Johnson

Owner, Health Center Solutions, Inc. Johnson is a health care and management consultant with 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector. She worked for 12 years in public health clinics including eight years with an FQHC as an operations director, planning and development director, and interim CEO. She specializes in FQHC and FQHC look-alike program development and grant writing, board governance, strategic planning, Ryan White HIV/AIDS program management, and interim executive leadership. She holds a master’s in non-profit leadership from Seattle University and a graduate certificate in public health from the University of Washington. A resident of Bellingham, Washington, she is an active participant in the non-profit sector and currently serves on the board of the Pipeline Safety Trust and the advisory board of the Western Washington University Human Services Program.
