Membership Categories, Dues & Benefits

As established in our bylaws, membership is divided into four categories:

Category A, Federally Qualified Health Centers

Federally Qualified Health Center members are private, non-profit corporations or public corporations that meet the organizational and operational requirements for funding under Section 330 of the US Public Health Service Act.

Member Benefits, Category A

• Reduced conference & training fees
• QuickNotes monthly e-newsletter
• Access to clinician recruitment services
• Inclusion in NWRPCA networks & directories
• Four votes on business before the membership
• Eligibility for election to board of directors and selection for membership on board committees

Annual Dues, Category A

Dues are based on the members' annual budgets:

$500,000-$999,999/ $450
$1 million or more /$650

Category B, Safety Net Affiliates

Safety Net Affiliate members are private, non-profit or public corporations, and as judged by a protocol approved by our board of directors, provide comprehensive primary health care services with a specific mission to serve low-income persons.

• Access to clinician recruitment services
• Inclusion in NWRPCA networks & directories
• One vote on business before the membership
• Eligibility for election to board of directors and selection for membership on board committees

Annual Dues, Category B

Dues are based on the members' annual budgets:

$500,000-$999,999/ $450
$1 million or more /$650

Category C, Individuals

Individual members are individuals affiliated with organizations or institutions that are engaged in collaboration or partnership with us or whose missions, goals and objectives are similar to ours. (Individuals may become members in this category regardless of whether their employers have organizational membership.)

Two sub-categories of membership for individuals have different dues and benefits.

An individual with a Basic Individual Membership pays $50 in annual dues.

An individual with an Enhanced Individual Membership pays $300 in annual dues.

Category D, Associate Members

Associate members are organizations or institutions that are engaged in collaboration or partnership with us or whose missions, goals and objectives are similar to ours.

Member Benefits, Category D

• One reduced conference registration or exhibitor fee for spring & fall conference per organizational member
• QuickNotes monthly e-newsletter
• Inclusion in NWRPCA networks & directories

Category D Annual dues are $300 for non-profit or public corporations and $650 for for-profit corporations.
