Creating and Sustaining Affiliations Between Family Medicine Residencies and Health Centers

NWRPCA/CHAMPS are pleased to offer podcasts from this training, offered at the Fall 2009 Primary Care Conference, in part due to the support of the National Association of Community Health Centers and the Colorado Health Foundation.

This workshop explored the opportunities available to health centers and family medicine residencies wishing to partner. Partnerships between these two entities can draw more clinical residents and students to careers in caring for medically underserved communities.

Tips for accessing our podcasts

Listening on your computer

• You'll need appropriate software/hardware such as Windows Media Player or Quicktime to listen to mp3 files on your computer. If you do not have a media player currently install one.
• Using a streaming media player like Windows Media Player or Quicktime will allow you to listen to the MP3 file as it downloads. Other media players may require you to download the entire MP3 file before playing it.
• Be patient as most of the audio MP3 files are very large and may take awhile to download.

Listening on an MP3 player

• To play our audio broadcasts on your iPod or any MP3 compatible player, right-click (or Control-click for Mac users) the session link to download the MP3 files to your hard drive and import the file into your music library of your portable player. The next time you synchronize, the audio broadcast(s) will be on your player. Please refer to your MP3 player's directions if you need further instruction on how to add the files to your player.
