Overview

Participants joined us this summer for our annual free Community Health Improvement (CHI) webinar series to learn about vulnerable populations, coverage considerations and how to ensure these populations are properly covered for fiscal sustainability. This series featured subject matter experts from National Cooperative Agreements specializing in vulnerable populations and best practices from health centers staff doing the work. This webinar was complimentary with no pre-registration required.

Agenda Details

It is estimated by 2050, people over 65 will represent more than 20 percent of the population in comparison to 15 percent today. The impact this population will have on the healthcare system is expected to be significant – with roughly 40 million additional Medicare-age patients. What do health centers need to do to prepare for this aging population? This webinar discussed the aging population demographics, care considerations and dual eligibility.
