The Uniform Data System (UDS) in-person training covers the preparation of the 2016 UDS Report. The training addresses each of the report's tables, including a discussion of the changes that have been made and the definitions necessary to complete the Report. The UDS training is aimed at those who are responsible for gathering and reporting the data elements included in the UDS Report, as well as management and clinical staff who need to understand the definitions and concepts used and those who use the data in their program management and improvement activities.
Day One, December 14, will focus on how to prepare the UDS report.
Day Two, December 15, will examine how to use the UDS for program improvement, specifically looking at a snapshot of blinded WA and OR grantee UDS indicators on a grid that together give the picture of an effective, balanced program. We will compare data and learn where indicators should be, and how to use data to improve your health center’s programs. You will also get a private report with where your health center measures within these UDS indicators. This training is a MUST for anyone who wants to learn how to use their UDS data to make program improvements.
CPE credits are available for this training.
