Webinar: Ag Worker Access 2020 Campaign: Methods for CHC Engagement

Tuesday, July 26, 2016 | 12-1:30pm PST

In May 2015, the National Association of Community Health Centers in collaboration with the National Center for Farmworker Health, and Farmworker Health Network, launched the Ag Worker Access 2020 Campaign. The campaign challenges migrant health centers nationwide to increase the number of new farmworker patients by 15% each for the next five years, reaching two million patients by 2020. Migrant health centers are the key player in making this campaign achievable. Join us to learn more about the campaign details, how your health center can become involved, and resources to support efforts. Participants will:

·         Gain background and an overview on the campaign, including Region 10 trends in migrant health

·         Learn how outreach and front desk staff are used to accurately identify and document farmworkers

·         Obtain outreach tactics and strategies targeting migrant seasonal agricultural workers

Speakers: Seth Doyle – Northwest Primary Care Association, Annette Rodriguez and Sandra Velasquez- Yakima Neighborhood Health Services
