Outreach and Enrollment: H-2A Workers: Who, What and Outreach Resources

There has been rapid growth of the use of temporary foreign agricultural workers in the United States. Many of these workers are on H-2A visas who require education and assistance for obtaining health coverage. This raises important issues regarding health and access to health care that require special attention. Hear an overview of the H-2A program as well as H-2A workers' rights and responsibilities under the Affordable Care Act. Strategies, efforts and organizational resources will be shared for outreach utilization.

• Learn about the H-2A program, employer responsibilities, and H-2A workers’ eligibility

• Understand H-2A workers’ rights and responsibilities under the Affordable Care Act

• Hear an overview outreach strategies, including organizational resources to support H-2A education and outreach
