UDS Training 2015

Dates: December 10-11, 2015

Location: Seattle, Washington

Overview

The Uniform Data System (UDS) in-person training covers the preparation of the 2015 UDS Report. The training addresses each of the report's tables, including a discussion of the changes that have been made and the definitions necessary to complete the Report. The UDS training is aimed at those who are responsible for gathering and reporting the data elements included in the UDS Report, as well as management and clinical staff who need to understand the definitions and concepts used and those who use the data in their program management and improvement activities.

Presented in partnership with OPCA

Agenda Highlights

Day 1: December 10, 2015

9:00am - 12:00pm with Alex Lehr O'Connell: Beyond UDS - New Public Housing Requirements for FQHCs, and Growth Opportunities through Partnership

In February 2015, all Federally Qualified Health Centers were required to include a count of the number of public housing residents they serve in their UDS report. This includes all FQHC grantees and Look-Alikes, not just those funded by the Public Housing Primary Care program. As FQHCs prepare for their 2015 UDS report submission, and plan for future growth, a prime opportunity exists to partner with local housing organizations not only to ensure compliance with the new reporting requirement, but also assess potential to leverage additional resources to serve new markets.

12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch is on your own

1:00pm - 4:00pm with Jennifer Rankin: The Complete UDS Mapper

In this three hour session, we will explain all the data in and functions of the UDS Mapper. In the first hour, we will show basic functionality and highlight the data available in the UDS Mapper. In the second hour we will demonstrate advanced features. In the third hour we will complete two hands on exercises using the Mapper, so bring your laptop to follow along. Your laptop must be Flash compatible. For anyone coming with a Mac, please ensure you have Mozilla Firefox installed.

Day 2: December 11, 2015

8:00am - 5:00pm with Art Stickgold: UDS Training

In partnership with the Bureau of Primary Health Care and Oregon Primary Care Association, NWRPCA is pleased to present the official full day of training to bring you up to date on the new Uniform Data System (UDS) quality of care reporting requirements for 2015.

The Uniform Data System (UDS) in-person training is a full day program covering the preparation of the 2015 UDS Report. The training addresses each of the tables, including a discussion of the changes that have been made and the definitions necessary to complete the reports. The UDS training is aimed at those who are responsible for gathering and reporting the data elements included in the UDS report, as well as management and clinical staff who need to understand the definitions and concepts used.  (Lunch will be provided)
