Our board
determines the strategic direction of NWRPCA and drives the organization by
committing time and energy:
- advocating for
the medically underserved in broader political arenas and building constructive
relationships with key stakeholders
- developing the
health care workforce and nurturing new leadership, and
- fostering
innovative approaches to close the gaps on health care disparities and
supporting a health care system that provides competent, compassionate and
equitable care for all!
Representatives
from each state – Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and
Washington –
provide support and guidance for key programmatic initiatives. Board
participation benefits individual community health centers, as well as the
state, regional and national health care safety net; enables individuals to
develop personal and professional leadership skills; and builds a peer community
of leaders who can support and learn from each other.
