Our board determines the strategic direction of NWRPCA and drives the organization by committing time and energy:

advocating for the medically underserved in broader political arenas and building constructive relationships with key stakeholders
developing the health care workforce and nurturing new leadership, and
fostering innovative approaches to close the gaps on health care disparities and supporting a health care system that provides competent, compassionate and equitable care for all!

Representatives from each state – Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington – provide support and guidance for key programmatic initiatives. Board participation benefits individual community health centers, as well as the state, regional and national health care safety net; enables individuals to develop personal and professional leadership skills; and builds a peer community of leaders who can support and learn from each other.
